House Captains and School Council
We have three houses at the school, named after famous local people from history. Hawker (yellow), Gurney (red) and Grenville (blue). Each house has a male and female house captain and vice captain. Captains and vice captains have regular meetings with the head teacher where they can discuss issues. They also interview new members of staff and show people around the school. They are examples of good behaviour for all members of the school community and help other children solve their problems. They also act as corridor monitors at the beginning and end of assembly.
