World War 2 Research
We have been learning about Kilkhampton at War and have been using an old school register to find out whether we had any evacuees and where they came from. We learned that this school register is a primary source of information. We found it very tricky to read the old-fashioned handwriting but we found lots of evacuees who had been sent to Kilkhampton. We are looking forward to sharing what we have found out. Here are some pictures of us doing our research.
