At Kilkhampton Infant and Junior School we use 'Little Wandle Letters and Sounds' programme  as our scheme of work for teaching phonics in the Foundation Stage and in Key Stage One. Children who need extra support also receive interventions using this programme.

At Key Stage Two, if children still require phonic teaching, they are taught using the Key Stage Two 'Little Wandle Letters and Sounds' programme.

All of our teaching staff and teaching assistants have had phonics training.
